I have been working to finish up a few business projects so that I can move on to some "play" projects. I always participate in a display swap with some of my other Close To My Heart gals so that we have class card and layout samples for each paper pack. Those of you close to me know about my obsession with denim so of course I had to choose Dakota. These are the things I came up with to share.
(The layout was modeled after one we created at convention, the 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card is a pattern from the Idea Book, the 3x3 just seemed perfect for the pocket and the 3D item is a gift card holder cut from the Artiste cartridge.)

for a beginner Cricut Class and am looking at Saturday, August 11th;
I previously mentioned August 4th but will not have everything
together in time and my back is not cooperating much at the moment. The class
will be $10 to cover supplies, snacks and door prizes! RSVP by
8/5/12, so that I save you a plug! You are welcome to attend even if you
do not have a machine because I will gladly share with you. This will be
BASIC Cricuting 101 and I am planning on a follow up with a project
